This course will explore working with clients in crisis, helping suicidal clients, considering the diagnosis of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, employing a model for making ethical decisions, utilizing assessment tools during a crisis, and documenting the appropriate protocols.

Purpose of this Course
This continuing education course is intended to offer a simple way to understand how to provide treatment to clients who are experiencing a crisis. In this course, we will look at issues regarding suicide, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, charting, decision-making and proper ethical protocol during a crisis situation.
